Applying Spain Spanish Visa in the Philippines

Spain on Wednesday said it will open a visa application center at Unit 801 of the Peninsula Court Building at the corner of Paseo de Roxas and Makati Avenue in Makati City on Thursday.

The Center will cater only on short-stay visa applications.

Applications submitted at the Spain Visa Application Center will be assessed by the Consulate General of Spain in Makati.

Applications for long-stay visas and legalization of documents continue to be received, processed and paid at the Spain Consulate General.

Appointment will be booked only for both long stay visas and legalization cases. Those wishing to book an appointment either of the two categories, can call at +632- 5558282 or email info.esph@vfshelpline.com with complete name, passport number, contact numbers, preferred date and time of appointment.

Also, the application must indicate whether the request is for long stay appointment or a legalization case.

In the past years, at least 15,000 Filipinos visit Spain annually. The Spanish tourism office said that because of the close historical ties between Spain and the Philippines, there should be more awareness of each other through tourism.
