Bank Accounts of Renato Corona at BPI Ayala
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)-Ayala Avenue assistant branch manager Mara Arcilla submitted on Tuesday to the Senate Impeachment Court the monthly bank statements of Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Renato C. Corona from the years 2005 to 2010.
The defense lead counsel, retired SC Associate Justice Serafin Cuevas, asked the impeachment court if the documents can be sealed as they are confidential.
Cuevas earlier asked what would be the nature of questioning Arcilla. He pointed out that there was no subpoena for the BPI assistant branch manager.
Impeachment Court Presiding Officer and Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile said that Arcilla would just be allowed to present the documents.
