Cotabato Women on Health Programs
A group of women here is supporting government’s health program dubbed “Presyong Tama, Gamot Pampamilya,” by selling high-quality, low-priced and branded medicines in this city.
The project, according to Soroptimist International (SI) group based in this city, is part of their organization’s thrust to alleviate poverty and promote the well being of the people, particularly the poor.
The high-quality, low-priced and branded medicines imported by the Philippine International Trading Corp.(PITC), an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry, are now available at a certain drugstore in this city owned by pharmacist Vicky Franco, past SI Cotabato director.
