Experience View of famous Manila Bay sunset

The view is an expensive amenity. Observe how properties that have “panaromic views of the mountains” are priced. Compare those with condos that have views of the “famous Manila Bay sunset” – or units that have a view of the golf course, or the Makati skyline, a French garden, an Italian courtyard with a grand fountain. Or a view of the beautiful beach.
If the view is one of the features of a property project, you can expect that comes with a price. Note that marketing people do not even mention the view of a condo unit – if the windows open to a building’s parking lot, or to a highway.
Who can say “no” to a home with a view? A view inspires many good feelings related to serenity. It brings an extraordinary dose of relaxation that’s worth a good massage. I have a friend who goes to her house near a beach every weekend – just to enjoy the view and get recharged for the week ahead.
A beautiful view is a major amenity that’s worth a lot of money. If you can afford it, I suggest you allow the view to make your decision for a home.
The view that is becoming rare, though, is one that my generation used to enjoy. It’s the view of children playing in the garden. Many were lucky to have enjoyed that view because families used to live in one compound, with their houses built around gardens and private driveways. Or some lived in houses with gardens beside the family room. I was lucky to have lived with that view beside the music room, where my parents sat every afternoon to watch the children play, and enjoy the cool air of dusk settle on my mother’s beautiful garden. – source: Manila Bulletin
