Free training on Network Security and Administration
Engr. Jose “Nino” Quimson, HNU LAN and Web Site In-charge attended a six-day training on Network Security and Administration sponsored by Cebu Educational Development Foundation for Information Technology (CEDF-IT) on August 20-25 at AsiaTown IT Park, Cebu City. The daily training was conducted in the CEDF-IT Training Room.
Network security is fast becoming a serious concern among ICT infrastructures and the specialized training is conducted “to enhance the knowledge of the participants in network security that may be applied in their daily tasks as Systems/Network administrators” according to the invitation given by CEDF-IT.
Holy Name University has a wide information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure that spans in two campuses and several computer networks including the offices, along with its on-line services such as on-line enrollment and student assessment.
