Keeping Clean Air Inside Your House

Indoor air pollution is ranked among the top five most significant environmental dangers. So what does the building and construction industry have to do about indoor air quality? A lot – according
to Joseph L. Ang, Worldbex Services International (WSI) founding chairman. “We’re the ones who build the structures and choose the materials; so obviously, the industry has a big responsibility towards indoor air pollution.”

Some of the innovations to be unveiled during the Worldbex Construction Exposition to be held from March 18-22 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) will specifically target indoor air quality. “There’s much debate about improving our environment and I think a significant part of this includes taking care of our human resources. And it’s fortunate that the latest trade advancements focus on this.”

Before, the most that eco-friendly paint can do is be odorless and have low-VOC levels. But products like Boysen’s KNOxOUT change the whole paradigm of eco-friendly paints by being an eco-active device that can actually lower pollution levels.

Boysen’s product is particularly effective in reducing the compounds NOX (Nitrogen Oxides) and PM 2.5, thereby reducing heath risks such as asthma and chronic bronchitis.
