Mindoro to Batangas Bridge Project
Officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) here disclosed over the weekend that construction of a superbridge linking this province to Mindoro island is set to start next month.
Engr. Rosauro A. Adapon, District Engineer of the 1st Engineering District here, said the superbridge will connect Batangas to Puerto Galera passing through the Isla Verde island.
Adapon said that investors from China have already met with Batangas and Oriental Mindoro officials and discussed the details of the proposed multibillion-peso superbridge project. The Chinese engineers have also conducted a site survey in the area, he said.
