Mining Ores in Nueva Ecija Confiscated
Elements of the Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) based in San Jose City, led by PO3 Renato Pabia and PO2 Reynaldo Lastimosa, intercepted the two Fuso 10-wheeler covered trucks loaded with some 300 sacks of mineral ore, which were about to be shipped from Tuguegaragao, Cagayan, to Manila.
The cargo was not covered by any document from any government office.
While being inspected, one of the eight persons confronted by the police drew P200 and offered the same to the arresting officers as bribe to let their cargo pass.
The policemen immediately arrested the bribe giver.
