Philippine Weather Forecast Today

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said southwest monsoon is affecting Luzon and Visayas.

PAGASA in its forecast for Monday issued at 5:00 a,m, said Luzon and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with widespread rains over the western sections which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said the southwest monsoon is not triggered by any low pressure area or tropical cyclone as Tropical Depression “Goring” is already far from the country.

Aurelio said the weather will be fine by Tuesday since there is no LPA or any weather disturbance that they are monitoring at present.

PAGASA said moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southeast to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
