Sony to Defend in US Congress

(Jiji Press)–Sony Corp. <6758> will defend its response to recent massive data breach when testifying before Congress Thursday, according to the text of a prepared opening statement.
Tim Schaaff, president of Sony Network Entertainment International, will say, “We notified our customers promptly when we had specific, accurate and useful information,” according to the text.
