Subsidized Fuel in Indonesia

House of Representatives (DPR)`s Commission VII on energy affairs agreed to the government proposal to increase the quota of subsidized fuel by 1.9 million kiloliters from the previous 38.59 million kl to 40.49 million kl.

The agreement was reached between the House Commission VII and Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Darwin Saleh in a hearing here on Thursday night.

The additional quota would be included in the 2011 revised state budget.

The working meeting between the House Commission VII and the government also endorsed all assumptions set at the 2011 revised state budget as proposed by the government, namely the Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) was set at US$ 95 per dollar, oil production at 945,000 barrels per day and electricity subsidy at Rp66.3 trillion.
