World War 2 Classic Bomb Found in the Philippines
A local resident was alarmed when he dug up a World War II vintage bomb in his lot in Barangay Pantal, Manaoag, Pangasinan on Saturday.
Police said Eusebio Dingli immediately reported the matter to the Manaoag police station as his neighbors also got panic.
The bomb was retrieved by the police and placed under proper disposal and safety.
The police theorized the bomb did not explode when it was dropped by American bombers during the liberation period in 1945.
It will be recalled that a few days ago, nine vintage bombs were also dug by a farmer in his cassava farm near his house in Alaminos City.
